Sono ancora tempi bui, i più bui, per il popolo errante: schiavo in terra straniera, sottoposto alla più crudele delle leggi. Proprio quando sembra che le cose non possano andare peggio, si manifesta un capo, mandato dal Signore per rispettare la promessa di redenzione.
